As some of you may know, the Steering Committee has a mailing
list<http://lists.okcjug.org/listinfo.cgi/sc-okcjug.org>at
sc at okcjug.org, which has worked pretty well for us. We have discussed
moving the main list to the same server that handles the SC list, and, not
seeing any good reason not to do so, have opted to make the move. To
facilitate this, I have subscribed all the current Yahoo! Group subscribers
to this new list (jug at okcjug.org), and set the Yahoo! Group to moderated.
Please direct all further communication to this new address.
Your subscription can be handled
here<http://lists.okcjug.org/listinfo.cgi/jug-okcjug.org>,
and list archives are available
here<http://lists.okcjug.org/private.cgi/jug-okcjug.org/>.
New subscribers will not need a Yahoo! ID, which will make subscription much
less onerous. We are also investigating other changes, such as RSS/Atom
feeds, to make the JUG itself and its online presence more usable and
functional. If you have any suggestions or if you run into any problems,
please feel free to discuss them here.
The JUG is here to serve you, so the more you put into it, the more you're
likely to get out of it. :)
