Tomorrow is our February meeting at which Brett Schuchert will be
discussing unit testing a system through its UI and the pitfalls that
may entail.

Tomorrow will also be an important day for the JUG, as we will be
electing new officers this year. Starting tomorrow, we will be taking
nominations for each position (descriptions below). You can nominate
anyone you think would be a good fit, including yourself. We will hold
the elections in our March meeting, so if you want to influence the
direction of future JUG leadership, please make sure to attend these two
meetings.

Job Descriptions:

    * President: The president's primary responsibilities include
running the monthly meeting(s), insuring that each meeting has a
speaker/topic scheduled, our financial responsibilities are met,
announcements are made, the web site is updated, etc. While the
execution of some these tasks are the responsibilities of others,
the president is ultimately responsible to make sure they happen.
The President may also be expected, if feasible, to represent the
JUG at various community meetings where such a meeting is
appropriate and our presence has been requested.
    * Vice President: The Vice President is expected, in the President's
absence, to fulfill the roles of that office. Additionally, the
Vice President handles the contacting of and coordination with our
sponsors. The Vice President's primary responsibility is to
insure that we have sufficient sponsorships to cover our current
      and expected future expenses.
    * Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible to taking donations from
sponsors and depositing those funds in the JUG bank account. The
Treasurer is also responsible for cutting checks (either physical
or electronic) to pay for expenses incurred by the JUG. The
Treasurer should be up-to-date (or become so in a reasonable
amount of time) on the current balance in any and all JUG bank
      accounts.
