We are providing lunch, so please registerand arrive early. This month's meeting is sponsored by ObjectStream. Location: Oklahoma City CoWorking Collaborative Speaker: Adam Farlee Topic: Maven 3 Summary: The Apache Maven Project is a software project management and comprehension tool. It has introduced a greatly simplified the build process and stresses Convention versus Configuration. Maven defines projects via a Project Object Module and uses that information for automated builds and deployments. It is highly extensible via plugins, but performs most common build tasks straight out of the box. This presentation will perform a high level demo of Maven, then will discuss the new Maven 3.0 beta release. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Right? One more spin on the old hamster wheel. Whoopty doo. One more week of waking up in a bed with my beautiful wife. One more week of working at my awesome job. One more week of making silly jokes and jumping on the trampoline with my son. One more week of night time chats with my daughter about life. One more week of walking the dogs with my wife through my neighborhood. One more week of worshiping the God of all creation. Whoopty doo. Will it take something like Cancer for me to say "Alleluia!!!!" instead of Whoopty Doo? I guarantee you our brothers and sisters who are battling Cancer are not saying Whoopty Doo. Because every week is ONE MORE WEEK. Every day is ONE MORE DAY. The research we are funding with this relay is helping the medical community provide as many "one more weeks" as possible. It's my prayer that one day, those of us who do not have cancer will have the presence of mind to say "Alleluia!" and that those of us who do have cancer will have the peace of mind to be able to say Whoopty Doo....at least once in a while.
