Subject: User groups at the okcCoCo in 2012
To:
Dear friends,
You, the leaders of community groups in OKC, have done some amazing work
educating and connecting people by creating professional communities. We at
okcCoCo have been lucky enough to see this happen first hand at the okcCoCo
over the last three years, and hopefully we have been able to help empower
you in some small ways in that time. Thank you for your time and efforts.
You may have heard the news that we are attempting to move the okcCoCo to
a new location in Midtown. The new okcCoCo will include many more offices,
more coworking space, more social/event space, a gym, bicycle storage,
coffee/sandwich shop, outdoor seating, and much more parking. We see this
new facility as huge opportunity to create a bigger and stronger community.
As part of that move, we have launched a funds drive that I need to ask
your help in promoting within your communities. If you would be willing to
send out the email below on your mailing lists, we would be very
appreciative.
So that you may prepare, please let me communicate that there is a
significant chance that we will not receive the financial support that we
need in order to move. In that case, February will be the last month we
will be able to host meetings and okcCoCo will close in March. If you need
help finding an alternative space for meetings, please do not hesitate to
get in touch with us.
Thank you!
Derrick

We have been meeting at The okcCoCo for some time now.
The okcCoCo is moving to a new location in Midtown. The new okcCoCo will
include many more offices, more coworking space, more social/event space, a
gym, bicycle storage, coffee/sandwich shop, outdoor seating, and much more
parking.
They cannot do this without your support right now. They have launched a
one week funds drive today to raise $25,000.
<http://indiegogo.com/okccoco>If they cannot reach that goal, the
okcCoCo will close in March and we will
have to meet elsewhere.
The okcCoCo is an important part of our community and I would like to ask
you to help support them if you can. They need your help right now.
