As JavaOne approaches, there are likely several members of our community planning on attending. For those that are, Sun has provided our JUG (too late for me to use, sadly :) with a discount code to use when registering that will save you, I believe, $100 off registration (which is open now, btw: http://java.sun.com/javaone/sf/). The JUG that has the most people sign up will get a private session with James Gosling. The code to use when registering is JUGJ161.

The Silicon Valley JUG is also hosting a CommunityOne event for all the JUGs on May 5. It's a free event. It should be a good time of networking and learning from other JUGs.

I'm also in the process of getting us signed up with Sun's JUG program. Once that is done (or finished. I think we actually started doing this some time ago), Sun will periodically send us free stuff to give (above and beyond all that great free software on their site ;).

If you have any questions or comments, please send them my way and I'll do my best to take care of them. :)

Have a good weekend (and a Happy Valentine's Day, I hope :). We'll see you all next Tuesday for our re-scheduled session covering JSF!
