If you've even been to OpenBeta, then you know what these are. For those that don't, the speaker gets only 5 minutes and 20 slides, with 15 seconds per slide. Every 15 seconds, the slides advance, whether or not the speaker is ready. It may sound a bit chaotic, but they really are pretty effective, and really, really fun. :)<br><br>We'd like to have as many as possible participate, and we'd like it to be as many non-regular speakers as possible, so that means you. Five minutes is an incredibly *short* amount of time to speak on a topic, and I'm guessing if you had a speech class in college (or high school, or even Toast Masters!) then you've done at least 5 minutes. If you need help planning your talk or slides, there are plenty of people at the JUG who would be willing to help out.<br><br>If you're interested in speaking, please reply to the list with the topic you'd like to cover.
