 a><br><br>Summary:<br>The Spring Framework and its various related projects
  have done a great \ndeal to move the Enterprise Java platform forward. The
  SpringSource \ngroup (commercial company now supporting and developing the
  Spring \nportfolio) recently released Spring 3.0 in December 2009. Startin
 g in \nSpring 2.5\, the web MVC support has undergone a significant face-li
 ft to\n simplify web application development. With the new release the Spri
 ng \nMVC module has completed the transition to much simpler model\, using 
 \nPOJO-based controller objects and adding extensive support for \nREST-sty
 le controllers and interactions. The talk will cover the overall\n architec
 ture of Spring MVC\, focusing mainly on the new POJO-based \ncontrollers no
 w favored over the old abstract controller class \nhierarchy. Additionally\
 , the talk will cover some interesting new \naspects of Spring 3.0 that hel
