<p>Good evening! It's been a really long time since we've had any
activity, but we're trying to fix that! :) I've made a post on our
web site about, so I won't repeat myself, but you can read the
details here: <a
href="https://okcjug.org/news/2022/re-kick-off-meeting.html"
class="moz-txt-link-freetext">https://okcjug.org/news/2022/re-kick-off-meeting.html</a>.
I hope a lot of you will join us next Wednesday. <br>
</p>
<p>You might also notice a new site design. Somehow during our
break, the WordPress-based site just quit working (completely
blank homepage), though I was able to extract the data from the
DB. To make things even more fun, there were some unpatched
vulnerabilities in some of the WP plugins (I'm guessing), so there
was all sorts of spam in the posts. Taking that database export,
I've reimplemented the site as a static site (using jekyll and
GitHub Pages), attempted to clean up the old data, and given the
site a new look and feel (<a
href="https://github.com/okcjug/site/tree/master"
class="moz-txt-link-freetext">https://github.com/okcjug/site/tree/master</a>).
Not everything is working yet, but enough is to push it live and
announce it. :)<br>
</p>
<p> Go poke around and tell us what you think. Better yet, poke
around, then come have lunch with us, and tell us what you think.
:)</p>
