<p>Thank you all for the votes and feedback (and John for the
gracious offer). Based on the feedback I've received, I've picked
#4 (see below :). Also, after a Twitter poll (<a

inspired by a conversation I had at Devnexus last week, I've
corrected the name of the group to "Java User Group", as that
seems to be the official formulation, based on Oracle's site (<a
class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://dev.java/community/jugs/">https://dev.java/community/jugs/</a>).<br>
</p>
<p>All that said, I have started updating the various JUG properties
(web site, Twitter, GitHub, etc) with the new logo. I've also
created a new YouTube channel. We have one, but the credentials
are lost to the sands of time (I worked with Google this morning
to try, but it's not possible, sadly. Ryan, though, _may_ have a
lead for us). That channel is <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://www.youtube.com/@OklahomaCityJUG">https://www.youtube.com/@OklahomaCityJUG</a>.
I have a web site refresh in the works that I hope to publish
soon. I also have the details for May meeting that I'll send out
soon.</p>

<p>Good evening! I'm at Devnexus this week, and this morning I
attended the JUG Leaders Summit that the Atlanta JUG hosts each
year before the main conference. A slide in one the
presentations reminded me that we don't have a logo for our JUG.
We tried before and didn't make much headway, so I thought I'd
try to remedy that. Since I am basically incapable of creating a
graphic that anyone would actually WANT to use, I did what
everyone is doing in 2024: I turned to generative AI. :) </p>
