OK.  I got Stephen's bio and pic

Stephen).  I have two competing and contradictory
abstracts (which seems appropriate).  For now, I'll leave Brett's, simply
because I don't know how to synthesize the two, nor do I have time to poke
at it. :)

And we still don't have a Hello Java topic and presenter listed.  Need I
cobble something together?
