I heard back from my cousin-in-law at Meto-Tech about any java shops in the area:

"I have told the NWS folk about the OKC JUG, but I guess they have never gone to a meeting. I am pretty sure that RiskMetrics (http://www.riskmetrics.com/index.jsp) is a Java shop in Norman."
