Howdy.  I have an update on our legal status efforts.  I spoke with my
brother-in-law, who is an associate at Conner and Winters
(http://cwlaw.com/site/conner_and_winters/section/167) regarding our
goals.  He suggested setting up a lunch with himself and one of the
partners at CW that deals with transactional issues like this.  He had
some advice on the type of status we should file for (LLC, for tax
reasons), as well as some thoughts on the not-for-profit status.  At
any rate, I'm going to work out a time when he, the partner, Ryan (I
hope ;) and I can go to lunch and discuss what it will take, and, more
importantly, what it will cost.  I'd like to get that done this week,
but with the JUG meeting this week, we'll have to wait and see.
