I went by UoP on my way home and looked at room 308. The setup looks very familiar. I guess it's like one of the Francis Tuttle rooms we used.

The tables are in a big U shape with the center being empty. There are 26 chairs around the U and 4 in the middle. It shouldn't be any problem to fit 10 or 20 more chairs in the middle section. 

So lets give this room a try and see how it goes.

I heard from Marc Hill at Francis Tuttle and he'll let his students know about our plans for the evening meetings.

I think I killed the joomla server early today (or it just happened to die while I was updating it). It came back up after a few minutes.

I've changed our room at UoP for lunches to 308. I hope it's bigger. I'll try to go by and take a look today.
 
GDH will sponsor May's lunch meeting. I'll send a note to Teksystems to see if they'll do June and get on a rotation.
 
I've sent emails to Francis Tuttle, Metro Tech, and OKCU about the new evening meeting format and audience (newbies). I've heard back from OKCU and he will post it. This is probably one of the worst times of year to try and get students involved in a newbies meeting. May, June, July, and August would seem to be bad times for it.... maybe we'll get some people who are graduating in May who are looking for work.
 
I got an email from Dave Booth at JetBrains/Intellij - he's gonna send some shirts for the jug!!! swag!
