Griffon: Crash Course
With so much development on web-based applications the desktop hasn't gotten
much love in the last decade. Frameworks based on the popular Ruby on Rails
framework have sprouted up all over the web to help make developing web
applications a zip. Out of the growing popularity of the Groovy dynamic
programming language for the Java platform a new framework has spawned. A
framework that has taken the concept of "convention over configuration" and
made it at home in the Java desktop world. Introducing Griffon. This ain't
yer momma's Swing framework.
