All (just throwing my .02 out there)
I really don't think voting on presenters will work. From what I have
seen, we haven't had much luck getting people to present. The month
Scott C. did his talk he had about one week to prepare because we
didn't have anybody lined out.
I would like to think the JUG is for an individual as well as the
community. So somebody who is horrible at presenting still needs to in
order to evolve their skill set .. I am assuming the community would
vote this person out to give a talk.
I feel introducing something where the community at large has to vote
for who is presenting will cause more problems than it solves.
I really don't think there is much more to talk about. Brett has
acknowledged he "misinterpreted" Ryan's email. So I don't see the
problem we are trying to solve.
