Chad, I think you are misunderstanding the proposal as voting on  
presenters. I understood it as voting on topics.

Either way, I agree with you that voting for topics or presenters  
would discourage particpation.  I know that would never have presented  
if not given the choice of topic.

We should probably have a fuller queue of presenters before taking any  
steps that would dampen participation.
