Voting should encourage other members participation. If a smaller group 
of people sets the agenda, it will be harder to find that 'sweet spot' 
as more experienced developers, 'elders' will forgo some of the topics 
interesting to the others. If there's only one presenter volunteering 
then there's no reason to set up a poll but I noticed typically there 
are 2-3 ideas being discussed by SC. Also along with the poll there 
should be a way for members to request certain topics. Another thing I 
like is when members post their development issues to the list and 
there's a group discussion.

On a related topic I'll try to make it CoCo for the 'code-off' Brett put 
together, at least as an observer as I like seeing multiple perspectives 
applied to solving the problem since often many of us tend to get set in 
their ways.
